Product: Injection Molded Brake Cartridge

Objective: Provide design solutions for high volume manufacturing and improve part performance through improved manufacturing yield and reduced manufacturing costs.

TPD's Role:

• Provide engineering and part geometry upgrades for improved ultrasonic welding, internal circuit board and electronics packaging.

• Design new sealing systems to improve ease of assembly and improved manufacturing 1st pass yield.

• Provide technical direction to Asian suppliers for mold design, ultrasonic welding process and tooling, and 1st article inspection/approval.
